Tom Thiel

Tom started in the business in 2007 at an investment advising firm, CTC Consulting Inc. His role as an advisory representative was to interview fund managers, write research summaries and create investment reports for clients. He has worked as a NASDAQ Market Maker/Retail and Institutional Broker/Investment Banker for the last 10 years. Tom teamed up with Joey in 2008 at McAdams Wright Ragen and was instrumental in building their business to include making markets in over 700 banks, 400+ retail clients, 50+ institutional clients, and over $250 million in assets. He is a passionate analyst and investor in community banks. His research and analysis have been key to growing our assets and developing loyal clients. He has created an extensive database to analyze bank investment data and has a deep understanding of trade reporting and compliance. In addition, his ability to communicate with clients and build strong relationships has benefitted us tremendously.

Tom was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, and currently resides in Beaverton. He is married to his wife, Charisse, with one daughter, Sienna, and two large huskies who keep him busy. He is very active and enjoys hiking, biking, skiing and nearly everything outdoors.
